Wendy is blessed to have been born and raised in Alexander County. At the age of 7 she was encouraged by her parents to take piano lessons and continued to take private lessons for the next 11 years. Wendy began serving the Lord at an early age playing for Sunday School, Worship Service, Vacation Bible School, and Children and Youth Choirs at her home church, First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. Although formal music education was not pursued after high school, her increased love for the Lord was. After marrying her high school sweetheart at the age of 19, she moved to Bethlehem and eventually joined Mount Bethel in 1986. While at Mount Bethel she had the privilege of serving God not only at the piano for 25 years, but also working with her husband as a Sunday School teacher, youth counselor, and leader of three youth interpretive movement groups. After a short sabbatical, she returned as pianist for the church’s group, Echoes of Heaven. The Lord has now blessed her again to be full-time pianist, and what a joy it is to serve Him!
Wendy has a degree in Secretarial Science and is employed full time at a family business, Bethlehem Manufacturing Company. She and husband, Latt, are blessed with a son, Brandon, daughter-in-law, Ashley, and granddaughter, Brooklyn.
